This is my 4th year in BNI and as a Visitor Host I kept telling everyone how much business I was getting out of BNI so I thought I should sit down and actually check my numbers to see if it was really that good.

My 1st year in BNI I only got approx 1% of my income from BNI. Year 2 was in the low double digits. However between the 2nd and 3 year my income jumped up to approx. 24% of my income was coming from BNI.

The 4th year was even better. Currently 36% of my income is coming from BNI referrals. By the end of this year it should be in the 40’s is my guess.

I think the thing I learned from this is give BNI some time and have some patience. In meeting with prospective and new members I always tell them to be patient and give this deal some time to work.
